We're doing some reshuffling behind the scenes this week and moving a few bits around on our servers.
As a result of this, the site will be offline at various points over the next few days. Sorry for any inconvenience - but we shall be back ASAP. Keep an eye on our DWG Twitter account for latest updates! |

| J-Live 'The Best Part' |
|
An album that tends to be forgotten these days, J-Live's debut rose above the politics and label shenanigans that stopped it coming out back in '97.
Dip back into your crates, stick the needle on the record and take a trip back to '99 with us as we dissect 'The Best Part'. DWG would also like to pay our respects to one of the greatest characters in hip-hop. RAMMΣLLZΣΣ R.I.P. |

| It's a daily operation... |
|
It was supposed to be Gang Starr singles week for us this week (see below), but I'm afraid I couldn't resist and just had to write about 'Daily Operation' today! An incredible record, even 20 years down the line. I hope some of you enjoy reading the review and maybe feel inspired to pull the album out for a spin.
Without fueling the fire, anyone wanting to keep up with things in regards to Guru's recent passing and the shady background facts that are appearing can do so here: www.fucksolar.com. R.I.P. Guru. |
